About This Blog


This blog is mainly for girls ages 12-16 or anywhere around there. I started it because I thought that even though there are PLENTY of blogs out there for girls 15+, there aren't really a lot for girls that are in their early teens (Like me). So, this blog is about fashion, beauty, tips, and plenty more. Also, everything towards modesty and Christ Like ways. I am a Christian, and I believe in God, and so this blog is geared towards modesty and Christ Like behavior, but with fashion flair! 


Here are a few things about me ~


1. Favorite Food- A big sub sandwhich, or shrimp, or um... oh there's too many too choose just one!
2. Favorite Drink- Any kind of smoothie, banana, strawberry, you name it!
3. Family- I have four younger brothers (2, 4, 8, and 10) and my mom and dad. We live in a beach-like area, with plenty of warm weather.
4. Style- There is no name for my style. It touches vintage, classic, modern, preppy, and practically anything else but goth. I call it Versatile, to fit my personality.
5. Hobbies- Reading, crafts, fashion, texting, manis, pedis, facials, organizing, shopping, traveling, planning, and surprising people. :)
6. Favorite Fashion Looks- I am all into the shorts and shirt tucked in with a blazer or cardigan, it's one of my definite faves. I actually like anything tucked in. I also like chino-style pants with a cute blouse tucked in and flats and a pair of stud earrings (the final but prettiest touch). I basically like anything tucked in, its just so cute and put-together. 
7. Favorite Color- Either creamy purple (a little darker than lavender), or a light pink. Like a baby pink. I also like a creamy blue and green, but it's not one of my "favorites". 
8. Dream Destination!- PARIS PARIS PARIS! Oh to be in Pari! I would absolutely LOVE to go to Paris. The food, shopping, music, and of course the Eiffel Tower, non (French for no)?
9. Favorite Way To Spend Time With God- I like praying. Because I can be on the intellectual side, I like mentally praying because God knows what I am saying, but others don't. I am SO thankful my family is Christian, who knows where we'd be if we weren't?
10. If I Could Buy Anything....- EASY! An entire wardrobe and room. I would be TOTALLY set!
11. Things That I Will Talk About On Blog- Fashion do's and dont's, trends that aren't that trendy, beauty and hair tips, fashion tips, outfit ideas, and some advice. Plus much more!
12. What I Look Like- I have honey blonde hair (right now its to my shoulders, but is growing a lot), emerald eyes, I am tall, have a tan complexion, dry skin (I thought I would add that so you guys would know that not all facials will be for everyone, I will let you guys know what skin type they are geared for though!), glasses (don't be fooled, they are the finishing touch to many of my outfit ensemble's), and nails that are always changing color (with nail polish of course). I wanted to add that because some things may be for people that share a trait with me. I will of course always try my best to make sure to have one for every type of girls, and also label which ones work for certain types. 
13. Favorite Accessory- Pearls! I have pearl necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and even a hair clip! That's why my blog nickname is Pearl! Ivy is just one of my favorite names.
14. Reason Why I Made This Blog- That is because I was looking on some blogs, the ones that are based towards teenage girls on modesty and faith, and they didn't really touch the subject for me (Being 13). So, I figured I would write about things for girls my age! It's a confusing time, TRUST ME, and so I totally get it. Its really for girls 12-16 and around that age. Oh, and just to let you guys know, even though I am 13, I know a lot about fashion. So don't be fooled by the number! ;)
